Aerial

Anita, Kelsey and Nora of the 'Barren Carousel' are to offer the opportunity to try out various types of Arial apparatus; hoop, trapeze, web and silks. Workshops will run throughout the weekend and are open to all levels of experience. For the real hard men and women they may put on handstand and contortion classes. Beware it is nowhere near as easy as they make it look!









'Raised Aerial Dance' by Shaena and Tara Brandel

This performance will be featured in the Show and is a culmination of Shaena and Tara's 5-week residency at the Firkin Crane. It draws on their diverse range of skills including aerial techniques, contemporary and release dance techniques, acrobatics and contact improvisation.. and promises to be absolutley brilliant!

PS If you are around Cork Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th of February you might be interested to participate in the aerial workshops in the Firkin Crane given by Tara and Shaena Brandel. They will be giving their workshops from 10am-5pm on Saturday and 10am-4pm on Sunday. Price is €100 or €80 for concession.
